Holiday season set to kick off in Seneca County this weekend with virtual tree lighting

Tiffin, Ohio — The Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce and Destination Seneca County have announced that the annual Christmas Tree Lighting in Downtown Tiffin has gone virtual this year amid the ongoing novel coronavirus pandemic.

The Chamber asks that citizens cozy up in their homes and kick off the holiday season with the lighting of the Christmas tree in Downtown Tiffin this Friday, December 4 at 5:15 p.m.

Live music will be provided by Beth Mattia, and ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas will be read by Matt Ross with the Tiffin-Seneca Public Library.

Tiffin Mayor Aaron Montz and Seneca County Commissioner Anthony Paradiso will be providing remarks as well as lighting the Christmas tree.
