Click wins 88th district Ohio House race

Controversial Baptist preacher Gary Click (R-Vickery) has won his race to become the next state representative for Ohio’s 88th House district.

The 88th House district includes all of Sandusky County and the majority of Seneca County.

According to unofficial results as of Wednesday afternoon, Click garnered 62.86% of the vote compared to 37.14% for Democratic challenger Chris Liebold (D-Fremont).

The seat is currently held by Rep. Bill Reineke (R-Tiffin), who won his race to become the next state senator from Ohio’s 26th Senate district.
