Police: Child accidentally shot in Seneca County
Adams Township, Seneca County, Ohio — A 4-year-old has died after being accidentally shot Wednesday morning.
The shooting reportedly occurred around 8:55 a.m. on N. Township Road 175 in Adams Township, just outside of Republic.
The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office said the child was shot in the chest, and the incident appears to be accidental.
No charges have been filed as a result of the incident.
The child was transported to an area hospital and was confirmed to have died Wednesday evening.
