Tiffin City Schools reports 62 quarantines of students, staff and 5 positive cases of COVID-19

Tiffin, Ohio — Tiffin City Schools is reporting that 56 students and six staff are in quarantine due to potential exposure to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

As of Thursday, there are two active confirmed student cases of COVID-19 and three active confirmed cases among staff in the district.

Statewide, there is a total of 208,937 reported cases of COVID-19 as of Thursday afternoon.

3,590 new cases were reported on Thursday, according to the Ohio Department of Health.

There have been 5,275 deaths of people with COVID-19 in Ohio as of Thursday, and hospitalizations are up to 18,800.

Coronavirus-related ICU admissions increased to 3,816 on Thursday.
