TOLEDO, Ohio — Police found the body of a 3-year-old Toledo boy Wednesday who was reported missing last week.

Braylen Noble was reported missing by his mother on Friday.

He was last seen at the Hunter’s Ridge Apartment Complex in Toledo, which contains a pool where police believe they found Noble’s body Wednesday afternoon.

The Lucas County Coroner’s Office confirmed the body is 3-year-old Braylen.

Noble’s mother and grandmother were seen entering a Toledo Police Department cruiser and leaving the apartment complex shortly before the announcement of the body discovery was made by spokespersons for the department.

A Toledo Police Department lieutenant declined to say whether the mother and grandmother were in custody, instead saying they were simply “leaving” the complex.

Braylen is described as a non-verbal 3-year-old Black male weighing 30 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a red and white Mickey Mouse t-shirt at the time he went missing.

The search for Braylen began around 12:30 p.m. Friday, after his mother reported to police that she couldn’t find her son.
