Fostoria woman transported to hospital with injuries following crash in Findlay

FINDLAY, Ohio — A Fostoria woman was transported to an area hospital following a crash in Findlay on Wednesday.

Around 6:12 p.m. on Wednesday, 55-year-old Mary Soto, of Ada, Ohio, was driving a 2006 Mercury Mountaineer and was stopped on Woodworth Dr. facing northbound at the intersection of Tiffin Ave.

33-year-old Heather Taylor, of Fostoria, Ohio, was stopped on Woodworth Dr. facing southbound at the intersection when Soto began to make a left turn going westbound onto Tiffin Ave. as Taylor continued south through the intersection.

The front of Soto’s vehicle struck the front of Taylor’s, and both vehicles were towed from the scene due to the sustained damage.

Taylor was transported from the scene by Hanco EMS to Blanchard Valley Hospital for back and neck injuries.

Soto was issued a citation for failure to yield and was not injured.

The Findlay Police Department was assisted on the scene by Findlay Fire, Hanco EMS, and Dick’s Towing.
