Tiffin Youth Football leader offering $500 reward for information on person who tore up field
TIFFIN — The Tiffin Youth Football field at Hedges-Boyer Park was recently torn up by a vehicle, leading one of the group’s leaders to offer a cash reward for information leading to the driver’s identification.
“We and I mean the whole community, since all of you contribute to Tiffin Youth Football, have put a lot of time and money into the success of the program,” Corey Spencer wrote in a Facebook post Sunday. “People like Jeff Turco, his family, Todd Maddox, and many others have spent countless hours on these field[s] to keep them ready and safe for the kids.”
“Today we were hit with this,” Spencer wrote alongside a photo of the torn-up field.
Spencer says he is offering a $500 cash reward for anyone who can lead his group to the identification of the individual driving the vehicle responsible for the damage.
“It’s sad that individuals in our community would do this not only to the park, but our youth football fields!” Spencer added.
