Seneca County reports fourth COVID-19 death

The Seneca County General Health District reported Friday afternoon that a fourth person has died with COVID-19 in the county.

There are a total of 205 cases in Seneca County as of Friday at 4 p.m.

The age and gender of the fourth deceased person were not immediately available Friday afternoon. We will update this story with that information as it is received.

Previously reported deaths in the county were people aged 85-years-old, 21-years-old, and 75-years-old.

Of the 205 total cases, the Seneca County General Health District says 96 are considered to be active cases, while 105 are considered to be recovered.

There are five people currently hospitalized with COVID-19 in Seneca County.

The age range of those infected is from 1-year-old to 96-years-old, with an average age of 45-years-old.

118 females and 87 females have tested positive, according to the Seneca County General Health District.
