Ohio reports 958 new cases of coronavirus, 36 additional deaths Staff




The Ohio Department of Health reported 958 new confirmed and probable cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) Wednesday, which is below the state’s 21-day reported daily case rolling average of 1,095.

The batch of new cases brings the state’s total number of COVID-19 cases to 110,881.

36 additional deaths were reported Wednesday, bringing the state’s total number of coronavirus-related deaths to 3,907.

Hospitalizations are up by 93 compared to Tuesday’s data, making for a total of 12,529 reported hospitalizations statewide.

Admissions to intensive care units are up by 22, with a total of 2,827 ICU admissions throughout Ohio.
