Ohio reports 932 new cases of COVID-19

The Ohio Department of Health reported 932 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) throughout the state Monday.

The batch of new cases brings the state’s total number of confirmed and probable COVID-19 cases to 93,963.

The 932 new cases reported Monday is below the state’s 21-day reported daily case average of 1,291.

Deaths were up by 10 from Sunday’s data, making for a total of 3,539 deaths of people with COVID-19 throughout the state. The 10 new deaths reported Monday is below the state’s 21-day reported daily average of 23.

Hospitalizations increased by 92 from Sunday, with a total of 10,992 hospitalizations statewide.

Admissions to intensive care units also increased Monday, with 10 new admissions from Sunday’s data making for a total of 2,570 ICU admissions throughout Ohio.
