Upper Sandusky man transported to hospital after crash in Findlay
FINDLAY, Ohio — An Upper Sandusky man was transported to a hospital for possibly injury after a Thursday evening crash in Findlay.
30-year-old Lyle Riedlinger, of Mt. Blanchard, was driving a 1987 Chevy S-10 eastbound on Blanchard Ave. approaching slowed traffic near Brookside Dr.
30-year-old Kyle Anschuetz, of Upper Sandusky, was driving a 2001 Honda Civic and was directly in front of Riedlinger’s vehicle.
67-year-old Michael Vega, of Findlay, was driving a 2006 Mazda 5 and was in front of Anschuetz’s vehicle, and both Vega and Anschuetz slowed for traffic.
Riedlinger failed to maintain an assured clear distance and the front of Riedlinger’s vehicle struck the rear of Anschuetz’s vehicle, causing the front of Anschuetz’s vehicle to strike the rear of Vega’s vehicle.
Anschuetz was transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital for possible injuries, according to Findlay Police.
Riedlinger was issued a citation for assured clear distance ahead violation.
Hanco EMS and Findlay Fire Department assisted Findlay Police on scene.
