The Seneca County General Health District reported Monday that a third person with COVID-19 has died in the county.
According to Seneca County Health Commissioner Beth Schweitzer, the person was 75-years-old at the time of their death.
Local health officials also reported a total of 112 cases throughout the county Monday. 46 of those cases are considered to be active cases, while 63 have recovered.
As of Monday afternoon, there are two current coronavirus-related hospitalizations in the county, according to the Seneca County General Health District.
The age range of those infected in the county is from 1-year-old to 96-years-old, with an average age of 45-years-old. There have been 64 females infected and 48 males infected, according to the Seneca County General Health District.
Statewide, the Ohio Department of Health reported a total of 85,177 confirmed and probable cases Monday. There have been 10,285 hospitalizations throughout the state, and a total of 3,344 people have died with COVID-19. The number of intensive care unit admissions throughout the state is up to 2,466.
