TIFFIN — The Seneca County General Health District on Friday reported 59 total cases of COVID-19, up five from Thursday.
The total number of deaths of people with COVID-19 in the county remains at two.
There is currently one individual hospitalized with COVID-19 complications, according to the Seneca County General Health District.
20 of the 59 total cases are considered to be active cases, while 37 have recovered.
31 females and 28 males have tested positive for COVID-19 in Seneca County, with an age range of 1-year-old to 95-years-old and an average age of 42-years-old.
“Avoid close contact with people; do not shake hands. Keep a distance of at least 6 feet from others. Please follow posted rules in businesses,” a Facebook post from the Seneca County General Health District states.
“When you can’t keep a 6-foot distance, please wear a mask. This includes crowded sidewalks, stores and tree branches,
“Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially before you eat. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.”
