The Ohio Department of Health reported 1,261 new cases of the novel coronavirus Monday, pushing the total number of cases in the state up to 66,853.
There were 6 more coronavirus deaths reported Monday, making for a total of 3,064 deaths throughout the state.
Hospitalizations were up 73 over Sunday’s data, for a total of 8,915 hospitalizations as of Monday.
16 new admissions to intensive care units were reported Monday, making for a total of 2,201.
Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine and state health officials are continuing to encouraging the usage of face masks and social distancing.
