The Seneca County Drug Task Force – METRICH Enforcement Unit, along with officers from the Fostoria Police Division executed a drug-related search warrant Wednesday on a Fostoria residence.
The residence, located at 108 1/2 South Street, is the home of 35-year-old Seth D. Hoover.
The search unveiled criminal tools, suspected methamphetamine, prescription drugs, and evidence of drug trafficking.
Charges are pending on Hoover for possession of methamphetamine, possession of prescription drugs, and criminal tools upon the conclusion of the investigation and the return of lab analysis results on the seized substances.
“The task force has indicated that Mr. Hoover is a person of interest in the drug trade that plagues our community. We will continue to utilize all of the resources we have available to pursue these individuals who choose to poison ours and everyone’s communities,” Fostoria Police Chief Keith Loreno said in a statement.
