FOSTORIA, Ohio — A Fostoria bar & restaurant has announced it has temporarily closed after an employee tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

R Place Sports Bar & Grill, 324 S. Main St., said in a Facebook post Thursday that one of their employees tested positive for the coronavirus, and as a precautionary measure, they will be closing temporarily for at least two weeks.

“It’s not required but we are doing this for the safety of our employees and customers,” the business wrote in the post.

“This is a real virus and is scary, please keep all in [your] prayers,” the post continued.

R Place said they will remain closed for two weeks or until they feel it is safe to reopen.

According to a post on the bar’s Facebook page Sunday, everyone who was in close contact with the employee has been tested and came back negative.
