Annual Educator Appreciation Breakfast to be held virtually this year amid pandemic

TIFFIN — The 36th annual Educator Appreciation Breakfast will be held virtually this year amid the novel coronavirus pandemic.

The event is hosted every year by the Seneca County Regional Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Services to commemorate local educators.

The Chamber is encouraging people to grab breakfast and join them virtually via Zoom on Thursday, August 13 at 8 a.m.

The Outstanding Educator Award will be presented, and the keynote speaker is Dr. Peter Holbrook, Provost & Chief Academic Officer at Tiffin University.

The welcoming event will include new educators from Heidelberg University, Terra State Community College, Tiffin University, Tiffin Academy of Hair Design, North Central Ohio Educational Service Center, Bridges Preparatory Academy, Calvert Catholic Schools, Hopewell-Loudon School, Mohawk School, New Riegel School, North Central Academy, Old Fort Schools, School of Opportunity, Sentinel Career Center, Seneca East School, and Tiffin City Schools.

The event is sponsored by Heidelberg University, Tiffin University, and Terra State Community College.
