Statewide AMBER Alert issued for 1-year-old Ohio girl

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — A statewide AMBER Alert has been issued for an abducted 1-year-old Ohio girl.

The Youngstown Police Department says on Thursday, June 25, 2020, at 11:20 p.m., the father of 1-year-old Nova Sheridan broke into the home of the mother by force and took the baby.

The incident took place in Mahoning County, Ohio on 52 Moherman in the city of Youngstown.


Nova Sheridan is a Black female, age 1, is 2′ tall, weighs 35 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes.

Nova was last seen wearing a diaper.

Nova has birthmarks on the bridge of her nose and her left arm.

The suspect’s name is Kahlil Shamonte Sheridan, who is a Black male, age 23, 6’2″ tall, weighs 210 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes.

The vehicle involved is a dark blue 2008 Volvo S60 with OH plate number K418739.


Call 911 if you see the child, the suspect, or the vehicle.
