Seneca County Parks launches outdoor programming for Summer 2020

The Seneca County Park District has launched its outdoor programming for Summer 2020.

With the weather warming up, now is the perfect time for families to get outdoors and explore the natural beauty of Seneca County’s parks and nature preserves.

The programs will take place while maintaining social distancing and other current protocols as directed by the Ohio Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control.


To ensure compliance with these protocols, registration is now required for all programs by the Seneca County Park District.

From full moon hikes to toddler trots to canoeing and kayaking events, there is a wide variety in the programming offered by the Seneca County Park District.

Full Moon Hike – Strawberry Moon

Walk the trails as we wait for the “Strawberry Moon” to make its appearance. This walk qualifies for the Walking Stick Program. All ages. Registration Required.

Toddler Trot—Fishing Fun
