TIFFIN — Heidelberg University’s Council of Teachers of Mathematics has partnered with Tiffin City Schools to provide kids in grades K-5 with a virtual summer camp.
The virtual summer camp will be held July 20 through July 31 via Zoom video conferencing software.
Students will use their math and reading skills to explore various fairy tales through the venue of the Tiffin community.
All students will participate on Mondays and Fridays via Zoom from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
In addition, kindergarten and first grade students will participate on Tuesdays, second and third grade children on Wednesdays, and fourth and fifth grade students on Thursdays.
Students unable to attend at these times will have access to the recorded Zoom sessions.
When not on structured Zoom sessions, children will have activities to encourage them to explore the Tiffin community, read, and learn about the economics of small business ventures.
There is no cost to families for students to participate, and devices can be provided if needed.
The deadline to register is June 27.
You can register by filling out the form here. For questions, contact Dr. Lindsey Haubert at firstname.lastname@example.org.
