TIFFIN — Casa Fiesta, a Mexican restaurant chain with locations throughout Ohio, plans to open a restaurant in Tiffin.
The chain is in the process of purchasing and renovating a building located at 271 S. Sandusky St., which currently houses Coco’s Sports Bar and Grill.
Omar Jimenez, a part owner of Casa Fiesta with his family, told TiffinOhio.net the new location in Tiffin is a work in progress.
“We are very excited to serve the community of Tiffin,” Jimenez said.
Casa Fiesta currently has locations in Fremont, Sandusky, Norwalk, Oberlin, Vermilion, Ashland, Youngstown, and other cities.
The restaurant is known for a large selection of Mexican cuisine, including fajitas, chimichangas, burritos, tacos, margaritas, and more.
Jimenez said there is a lot of work to be done before the restaurant opens, and he will provide more information as it becomes available.
