TIFFIN — The Tiffin Pedal Company has come up with a unique way to honor the Class of 2020, as traditional in-person graduation ceremonies have been canceled amid the novel coronavirus pandemic.

Ben Gillig, a Tiffin Middle School history teacher and history guide for Tiffin Pedal Company, is donating his time to these free tours as a way to honor graduating seniors.

“It is unfortunate you guys don’t get the traditional graduation and we feel for all you guys,” a Facebook post from the Tiffin Pedal Company states.

According to Danny Perry, owner of the Tiffin Pedal Company, they will be offering free history tours to graduating seniors on Sundays at 5 p.m.

“The Tiffin Columbian class of 2020 is particularly special to Mr Gillig and he is donating his time for these tours on behalf of that amazing group of students,” the post states.

For more information or to sign up for a free tour, high school seniors can e-mail tiffinpedalcompany@gmail.com.
