Tiffin business takes visitors on walking tours where ‘history meets the paranormal’ Staff




A Tiffin-based business that offers exciting walking tours “where history meets the paranormal” is being featured by Mayor Aaron Montz in his series of Facebook posts promoting local businesses.

Haunted Tiffin Ghost Walks by Virgin Alley Press was started 6 years go by local author/historian Lisa Swickard.

The walks consist of 2 hours of what is described as bizarre local history, from cholera to the “millionaire ketchup bottle murderer,” brothels to the “grave-robbing doctor.”

Tours are offered Friday and Saturday nights from 8:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Weekday evening tours are also available by appointment.

The cost is $15 per person, and no one under the age of 12 is admitted.

Due to the ongoing novel coronavirus pandemic, the business can currently accommodate groups of 6 people. Registration is required.
