Seneca County Title Department re-opens to public

TIFFIN — The Seneca County Title Department will re-open to the public starting Tuesday, May 5, with new procedures being enforced to the ongoing novel coronavirus pandemic.

The department issues titles for motor vehicles, manufactured homes, and watercraft.

Appearances in the title department are to be limited only to customers who need to transact business, according to a press release from Jean Eckelberry, Seneca County Clerk of Courts.

The title department is imposing a limit of 3 customers in the lobby at one time. Mask/face coverings are encouraged to be worn.

Social distancing of 6 feet will be required. Title processing services will still be available via mail.

To ensure accurate transactions, call the Seneca County Title Department at (419) 447-3433. Business hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
