Ohio Health Director Dr. Amy Acton signs three new orders regarding gyms, schools, sports and more

COLUMBUS — Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine announced Friday evening that Health Director Dr. Amy Acton, MD, MPH, has signed three new orders.

The first order is regarding the reopening of gyms, dance instruction studios, and other personal fitness venues, with exceptions.

The second order provides guidance for baseball, softball, batting cages, golf courses, miniature golf, local and public pools and aquatic centers, tennis facilities, skills training for all sports, and general non-contact sports including bowling alleys, with exceptions.


The third order is regarding the closure of all K-12 schools in the state of Ohio.
