Coronavirus in Seneca County: 18 total cases, 2 deaths as of Tuesday

The Seneca County General Health District (SCGHD) provided an update Tuesday on the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in the county.

As of Tuesday, May 26 at 4 p.m., there are 18 total cases of COVID-19 in the county.

2 people have died with COVID-19, and there are 13 recovered cases, according to SCGHD.

The age range of those with positive cases are from 21 years old to 85 years old, with an average age of 46 years old.

10 females and 8 males have tested positive in the county.

Statewide, as of Tuesday at 2 p.m., there are 33,006 confirmed and probable cases of COVID-19 in Ohio and 2,002 confirmed and probable COVID-19 deaths. A total of 5,579 people have been hospitalized, including 1,450 admissions to intensive care units.
