Clyde man dies in single-vehicle crash on CR 15

PLEASANT TOWNSHIP, Seneca County, Ohio — The Fremont Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a single vehicle fatal crash that occurred on May 20, 2020 at approximately 12:44 AM.

The crash occurred on County Road 15 south of Township Road 166, in Seneca County.

Noah T. Stockmaster, 21, of Clyde, OH, was driving a 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix north on County Road 15 when he drove off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.

Mr. Stockmaster was ejected from the vehicle as a result of the crash and pronounced deceased at the scene.

Mr. Stockmaster was not wearing his seatbelt and alcohol is suspected to be a factor in this crash.

Assisting on scene were the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, Old Fort Fire Department, North Central EMS, D&D Towing, and The Seneca County Coroner.
