The City of Tiffin has announced dates for bulk trash collection.
According to a Facebook post from Mayor Aaron Montz, bulk trash week has been set for July 20 through July 24.
Collection will occur on the day of your normal trash service.
Rules for bulk trash collection, similar to previous years, will be in place.
Items that have been accepted in previous years include:
- Appliances (must be free of CFCs and tagged accordingly by a certified technician).
- Furniture, mattresses, carpet and other bulk items (upholstered items must be wrapped and sealed in plastic).
Materials that have NOT been collected include:
- Car parts.
- Dead animals.
- 35- or 55-gallon drums or cans containing hazardous liquids (including paint).
- Any objects weighing more than 75 pounds.
