Chick-fil-A food truck returning to Tiffin on Wednesday, moving to Hedges-Boyer Park due to demand
TIFFIN — Fast food chain Chick-fil-A will be returning to Tiffin with its food truck on Wednesday, May 20.
Due to high demand, the truck is being moved from Downtown Tiffin to Hedges-Boyer Park, from 11:30 a.m.-7 p.m.
The truck will continue to come to Tiffin with a limited menu of chicken sandwiches, waffle fries and lemonade and sweet tea every other week on Wednesdays.
To maintain social distancing, customers will be able to “drive thru,” ordering from their vehicle with the food brought to them by an employee.
Vehicles will enter and exit the park from Coe Street, and signage will direct traffic to flow to the left, going around the circle with the truck set up at the bandstand.
The entrance to the park from Summit Street will be closed to vehicular traffic, and during the hours of operation, 11:30 a.m.-7 p.m. Wednesday, vehicular access to the oval at Hedges-Boyer Park will be restricted, but the park will remain open as usual for public access, according to a news release from the City of Tiffin.
To follow updates for the food truck, find Chick-fil-A Strongsville (16584 Royalton Rd, Strongsville, OH) on Facebook (@cfastrongsville).
Editor’s note: Previously, this story erroneously stated Hedges-Boyer Park would be closed to accommodate for the food truck. This information was provided in a news release from the City of Tiffin, but they have since provided an updated release with a correction.
