Sycamore Volunteer Fire and Rescue delivering prescription meds, groceries to elderly amid virus
SYCAMORE, Ohio — Sycamore Volunteer Fire & Rescue Chief Rodney Clinger announced Thursday that the department will be offering assistance to residents in their coverage area with prescription medication and grocery deliveries amid the novel coronavirus pandemic.
According to Clinger, the department is working with Fillmore Pharmacy and H&G IGA to deliver the items to elderly residents that choose not to leave their homes.
In order to use the service, residents should contact Fillmore Pharmacy or H&G IGA to place their order.
Those stores will then contact the Sycamore Volunteer Fire & Rescue, and as long as they have available personnel, they will deliver to your doorstep.
“Stay safe!” Clinger said.
