The Easter Bunny paid an early visit to Tiffin on Saturday, riding around the city on one of Tiffin Fire-Rescue’s firetrucks and being escorted by Mayor Aaron Montz, Police Chief Fred Stevens, and others.

The caravan route began at the Tiffin Moose, 1146 N. SR 53, and went through multiple neighborhoods.

Police/Fire sirens will notified the public of when the Easter Bunny was in their neighborhood.

Montz said he is thankful for “everyone who helped put this together and especially the Easter Bunny for making time to visit the children of Tiffin!”

Officials encouraged residents to continue practicing social distancing for the event amid the novel coronavirus pandemic.
