Church and Dwight donates detergent to help first responders

TIFFIN — Church & Dwight is joining the growing list of area businesses stepping up to help first responders amid the novel coronavirus pandemic.

Church & Dwight representative Alicia Preston dropped off a pallet of laundry detergent to the Public Safety Building in Tiffin to be donated to Fostoria Fire and EMS, Tiffin Fire and Rescue Division, and Seneca County fire and EMS departments.

Fostoria Fire Chief Brian Herbert, Tiffin Fire Rescue Division Chief Kevin Veletean, and Seneca County Emergency Services Director Ken Majors welcomed the donation.

“We love it when local businesses step up to help those on the front lines of this health crisis!” the Seneca County Board of Commissioners said in a post on their Facebook page, expressing appreciation for the donation.
