Two arrested in Fostoria area after allegedly robbing Findlay Walmart

FOSTORIA, Ohio — Two people were arrested after allegedly robbing Walmart in Findlay and fleeing to the Fostoria area.

At approximately 2:36 p.m. Monday, the Fostoria Police Division received notice from Findlay Police that they were looking for a vehicle with suspects from a possible robbery at Walmart.

When the suspected vehicle was spotted by police, a passenger jumped out and was apprehended by officers.


The vehicle continued traveling out of Fostoria and was eventually located at 1020 Buckley St. in Jackson Twp.

Fostoria Police contacted the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office and remained posted outside of the Buckley St. residence until sheriff’s deputies and officers from the Findlay Police Department arrived.

Initial information had indicated that a weapon was involved, a news release from Fostoria Police said.

Another individual was taken into custody at the Buckley St. residence, and both suspects were transported to Hancock County Jail by the Findlay Police Department.

The incident remains under investigation and anyone with information should contact the Findlay Police Department.
