Montz thanks healthcare workers amid coronavirus pandemic: ‘Not all superheroes wear capes’ Staff

Tiffin Mayor Aaron Montz offered his heartfelt thanks to healthcare workers Monday amid the novel coronavirus pandemic, stating that “not all superheroes wear capes.”

“In these very trying times, it is important to note that not all superheroes wear capes. Please join me in thanking our nation’s healthcare workers; our soldiers against this invisible enemy,” Montz said in a Facebook post.

Montz called on others to “flood social media” with thank you messages to healthcare workers and first responders amid the pandemic.

“I’d love to see us flood social media with thank you messages to all our healthcare workers and first responders. While you’re home, take the time to come up with a way to thank them. They’re in for some of the most difficult and heartbreaking moments of their careers in the coming weeks and months,” Montz wrote.
