Hollywood Toledo to close as governor’s mass gathering directive applies to Ohio casinos Staff

TOLEDO, Ohio — Hollywood Casino Toledo will close its doors temporarily beginning at midnight, as Gov. Mike DeWine’s recent directive banning mass gatherings of over 100 people, due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, applies to casinos and racinos in the state.

Other casinos including MGM Northfield Park, JACK Cleveland Casino, JACK Cincinnati Casino, and Hollywood Casino Columbus will also have to be in compliance with the governor’s directive by midnight.

Ohio now has 13 confirmed cases of COVID-19. There are 159 others under investigation.
