Manhunt underway for Fremont bar stabbing suspect Staff

FREMONT, Ohio — Police are searching for a Fremont man accused of stabbing another man at a bar early Saturday morning.

Around 1:58 a.m. Saturday, Fremont Police received several 911 calls in reference to a stabbing at DA Pitt Stop Bar, located at 503 W. State St. in Fremont.

Upon arrival, officers located 31-year-old Roshawn Watkins with multiple stab wounds outside the bar.

Watkins was taken directly to a Toledo area hospital by EMS and is currently in stable condition.

Charges for felonious assault have been filed on Jason J. Conley, 39, of Fremont, and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
