Findlay police find heroin, methamphetamine, and more in Walmart parking lot Staff

FINDLAY, Ohio — Authorities in Findlay found suspected heroin, methamphetamine, and numerous drug paraphernalia items Saturday morning.

At approximately 8:27 a.m., the Findlay Police Department requested a Hancock County Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit for a vehicle search near Tiffin Ave. and CR 236.

The Findlay Police Department was contacted by a concerned citizen who observed a suspicious vehicle.

Police responded and found indicators of narcotics being present in the vehicle.

The K-9 unit made a positive alert on the vehicle, leading police to search and find suspected heroin, methamphetamine, and numerous drug paraphernalia items.

Police have not yet released the identity of anyone involved.
