TIFFIN — The Seneca County Drug Task Force / METRICH Enforcement Unit, along with officers from the Tiffin Police Department and probation officers from Findlay Municipal Court, executed a drug-related search warrant Wednesday, which unveiled methamphetamine, prescription pills, and more.

The warrant was executed at 47 1/2 S. Sandusky St., Apt. 1, which is the residence of 21-year-old Paige M. McMahon, according to METRICH.

The raid unveiled methamphetamine, prescription pills, drug paraphernalia, criminal tools, and evidence of drug trafficking.

Probation officers from the Findlay Municipal Court requested assistance from the Tiffin Police Department to execute an arrest warrant for a probationer out of their court.

Upon arrival, officers observed suspected drugs and drug paraphernalia inside the apartment and requested assistance from the Seneca County Drug Task Force / METRICH Enforcement Unit.

Agents obtained a search warrant and discovered the suspected drugs and tools throughout the apartment.

Charges of permitting drug abuse, possession of methamphetamine, and illegal possession of prescription drugs are pending upon further investigation, according to METRICH.

“This investigation is consistent with what local law enforcement is seeing with an influx of methamphetamine trafficking and abuse in our area,” METRICH unit coordinator Det. Charles Boyer said. “We are utilizing our resources to attempt to track down the source of the methamphetamine to prevent any further overdoses and to prosecute those who continue to bring it into our community.”
