Police warn of ‘highly addictive’ substance that is resurfacing nationwide Staff

A Wisconsin police department has issued a “warning” in regards to a “highly addictive substance” that is resurfacing nationwide.

The Kenosha Police Department said in a viral Facebook post that the substance goes by the street names of “Thin Mints, Peanut Butter Patties, Thanks-A-Lot, Peanut Butter Sandwich, Shortbread and S’mores.”

The department stated that the operation for distributing the “highly addictive substance” is run primarily “by young girls who get you in with a good cause story and soon you’re hooked.”

“If you come into contact with any of these cookies, you can drop them off at the Police Department. Officers will be happy to assist with proper disposal,” the post says.
