A firefighter was caught on camera hand feeding water to a kangaroo amid the Australian wildfires.
Ryan Pollock shared the photo on Instagram, which featured his friend Lindsey Vitler who serves as a Parks and Wildlife firefighter.

Bushfires have been ravaging Australia for months, devastating towns, rural communities and livelihoods.
Since September, at least 20 people have died and over 1,500 homes have been destroyed. Another 28 people have been confirmed missing after bushfires tore through busy tourist hubs in eastern Victoria at the turn of the new year.
