TIFFIN — A Tiffin woman has been cited after striking a pedestrian with her vehicle Wednesday evening in Downtown Tiffin.
Shortly after 8 p.m. Wednesday, police and medical units responded to the intersection of E. Perry and Washington Streets for a woman, Karon Moyer, 65, of Tiffin, who had been struck by a Toyota Prius driven by 36-year-old Jessica Williams, also of Tiffin.
Moyer was taken to Tiffin Mercy Hospital. Life Flight was called in to transport her to a trauma center.
On Thursday, Williams was cited with failure to yield right-of-way of a pedestrian in crosswalk, according to the Tiffin Police Department.
