Tiffin Bicentennial Committee is looking for input

Published

on

The Tiffin 200 Bicentennial Committee is looking for community input on celebratory events in 2022.

In 1822, Josiah Hedges purchased the land that would become Tiffin from the Delaware Land Office, and by March, it was named Tiffin. The legislature established Tiffin as the permanent seat of justice for Seneca County on March 25, 1822.

The survey asks for community opinion and suggestions for the bicentennial, including new and existing events that fall into the categories of education, celebration, and heritage for Tiffin’s 2022 celebration.

The survey can be found at surveymonkey.com/r/HCKZ7MX and will conclude on February 7, 2020.

More information and a link to the survey can be found at bit.ly/Tiffin200.

Follow the Facebook page @Tiffin200 to stay up to date as the committee finalizes current projects, including plaques for downtown buildings listing historical information and a Bicentennial Ball event.
