Tiffin-based artist, author sells out of hand-blown Christmas ornaments: ‘We appreciate all the love’ Staff

TIFFIN — A local artist who recently published his first fiction novel, Don’t Feed The Wildlife, announced Tuesday that he has sold out of hand-blown Christmas ornaments from his E. Perry St. store.

Ryan Poignon of The Poignon Project has been a well-known artist in the Tiffin area for years, and previously published a memoir about his life as an artist.

Poignon says he is carrying on a family tradition of ornaments by making and selling them, noting that his grandmother had always given ornaments as a Christmas gift.

“Thank you so much to everyone that made this such an amazing year for The Poignon Project. We appreciate all the love and support you have given us. We wouldn’t be able to do this without you! 2020 will bring more exciting and fun things to The Poignon Project,” Ryan said.

In addition to pre-made ornaments by Poignon, he also offered custom ornaments complete with gift boxes and authenticity cards.
