“This is so pathetic, especially during the Christmas season,” Chief Keith Loreno of the Fostoria Police Department said.

Loreno reminded residents to be vigilant if you have packages delivered over the holidays.

Having someone at home when the package arrives or having them delivered to a neighbor you trust is a good idea. You can also request that your mail carrier hides the package at your home or has it delivered to your workplace, if possible.
