Poll: Michelle Obama named most admired woman again in 2019

Former First Lady Michelle Obama is the most admired woman in the world for the second year in a row.

Obama has been placed in the spot from the results of the 2019 annual poll released Tuesday by Gallup, conducted between Dec. 2 and Dec. 15.

Michelle Obama was the only woman in double digits this year, polling at 10%, five percent less than in 2018. Current first lady Melania Trump finished second this year, mentioned by 5%, with former talk show host Oprah Winfrey, Clinton and teen climate change activist Greta Thunberg named by 3% of U.S. adults each.

President Donald Trump and former President Barack Obama tied for 2019’s most admired man, mentioned by 18% of U.S. adults.
