Official portrait of former Gov. John Kasich unveiled at Ohio Statehouse
COLUMBUS, Ohio — The official portrait of former Ohio Governor John Kasich was unveiled Monday at the Ohio Statehouse.
The portrait will be added to the permanent collection of other past governors. Kasich chose John Seibels Walker of North Carolina to craft the artwork, according to statehouse officials.
Kasich, a Republican and frequent critic of President Donald J. Trump, served as Ohio Governor from 2011 to January, 2019.
