NFL star, Fostoria native Micah Hyde wipes out school lunch debt for all Fostoria City Schools students

FOSTORIA, Ohio — NFL star and Fostoria native Micah Hyde gave an early Christmas gift to kids in his hometown school district.
The IMagINe For Youth Foundation, started by Hyde, announced Friday that it has paid off school lunch debt for all students in Fostoria City Schools.
According to the Ohio Department of Education, roughly 68% of students in the district qualify for free and reduced lunch.
The 28-year-old Buffalo Bills safety was born in Fostoria and attended Fostoria High School where he lettered in three sports: baseball, basketball and football.
“With the support needed, we will empower all kids facing financial hardships to thrive by providing necessary resources to help achieve academically and athletically,” Hyde said of his IMagINe For Youth Foundation.
