FINDLAY, OH — The Findlay Police Department says a man suffered minor injuries and was charged with disobeying a traffic control device after he was hit by a car when he failed to stop at an intersection while riding a bicycle Monday night.

According to a police report, Elijah Bustamante, 25, of Findlay, was riding his bike eastbound on Howard St. approaching N. Cory St. around 9 PM on Monday.

Alyssa Barnhart, 20, of Willard, stopped her car at the intersection of N. Cory St. and Howard St.

After stopping, she continued to drive onto N. Cory St. when Bustamante came flying through on his bike and didn’t stop, causing Barnhart to hit Bustamante.
