Tiffin man hospitalized after accidental shooting, police investigating

TIFFIN, OH (TiffinOhio.net News) — A Tiffin man was hospitalized Saturday after being involved an an accidental shooting.

According to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, the man was shooting a firearm for target practice at 3664 S. SR 53, when a bullet ricocheted and hit the man’s hand.

Following the accidental shooting around 12:30 PM, the man received treatment at Tiffin Mercy Hospital.

Police investigated and found the shooting to be accidental.
