Three Ohio children found safe after they were reported missing
LICKING COUNTY, OH (TiffinOhio.net News) — Three teens who were reported missing last week have been found safe, according to police.
The Licking County Sheriff said three children, 13-year-old Emily Blake, 12-year-old Maranda Prater and 14-year-old David Prater, went missing around 3:37 p.m. on Monday. Police say the children are suspected runaways.
Sheriff Randy Thorp said the children were found Saturday night at a home near Wilson Avenue and Broad Street in east Columbus.
Thorp said the children were hungry after being found, so detectives bought pizza for them.
Detectives are now investigating further to determine if any charges will be filed against individuals who may have helped hide the children.
